It’s hard to believe that it is almost the end of February already. So far this year we have already witnessed temperatures ranging from 63 degrees to -5 degrees. At our home, one day our furnace ran constantly and a week later we had the windows open. Such is life in Western PA!
2018 was another successful year for our Chapter. Many thanks to you, our membership, for your support and participation. We also couldn’t have done it without the leadership from our past president Stephanie Brett and our other officers. Thank you all!
This past year we had a nice turnout at our Spring Social, which was a nice opportunity to interact with our fellow CPCUs. Please mark your calendars for May 1st this year when we will host it again at Southern Tier. First drink and appetizers are on the Chapter!
We hosted another successful Golf Outing at Meadowink and All Industry Day at Rivers Casino. Mary Jo Rebelo, one of the speakers at All Industry Day, was kind enough to provide a follow-up article for our members. Please take some time to read her article in this Chaptergram.
We had great attendance for our December, 2018 Holiday Luncheon and Officer Installation. Because of this event, we were able to provide a donation to the Greater Pittsburgh Area Food Bank, as our Chapter Good Works project. Thanks again to all who attended and helped contribute to this great cause!
We have similar events taking place this year and we included a schedule within this Chaptergram. One of the most important benefits of membership is the ability to network with your fellow CPCUs – please try to take advantage of it!
We have a great group of officers representing you this year. Don’t hesitate to call, email, or text us with your suggestions or opinions. We hope to hear from you and see you at our events and meetings!
Here’s to another successful year!
